HostHolder, an organisation of AFIT Solutions ("HostHolder", "we", "us"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, client area and services, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. By using our website or buying a service you accept this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account and contact details: name, company, postal address, phone number, email address, and your sign-in details (your password is stored only as a secure hash).
Billing details: invoices, the payment method you chose and the transaction references the payment provider gives us. Card numbers, PINs and wallet passwords are entered on the provider's own page (bKash, SSLCommerz, PayPal, 2Checkout); we never see or store them.
Domain contact details: the registrant information that registries require for each domain.
Technical data: IP address, browser, device, operating system, pages visited and time of access, kept in server logs.
Communication: support tickets, chats, emails and the notes you add to an order.

2. How we use your information

to set up, run and renew your services and domains;
to process orders, invoices and payments;
to give technical support and answer your questions;
to send service notices such as invoices, renewal reminders, security alerts and, if you turned them on, SMS notifications;
to prevent fraud, abuse and attacks and to keep our systems secure;
to improve our website and services;
to send offers and news only if you joined our mailing list (you can leave at any time).

3. Why we may use it

We use your information to perform our contract with you, to meet legal and tax obligations, for our legitimate interest in running a secure and reliable service, and, for marketing, with your consent.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share only what is needed with:

Domain registries and registrars, to register and manage your domains;
Payment providers (bKash, SSLCommerz, PayPal, 2Checkout and banks), to take your payments;
Infrastructure providers such as data centres, DNS and email delivery services;
Authorities, when Bangladeshi law or a valid legal order requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public from fraud or harm.

5. How we protect it

Encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, encrypted storage of keys and limited staff access.
Payments are completed on the payment provider's own secure page.
No system is completely secure. Please use a strong password, keep it private, update your website software and keep your own backups.

6. If a breach happens

If we learn that personal information was exposed, we act at once to contain it, inform affected customers without undue delay with what happened and what to do, and inform the authorities where the law requires.

7. Cookies

Essential cookies keep you signed in, remember your cart, currency and light/dark choice, and protect forms against misuse.
Analytics cookies (only if switched on) help us understand how the website is used. Our sign-in, cart and client-area pages do not load advertising or tracking scripts.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may then not work.

8. How long we keep it

Account information: while your account is active.
Invoices and payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Support tickets and logs: as long as needed for support, security and to resolve disputes.

9. Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account (except what the law requires us to keep). You can change most details yourself in the client area. Send other requests to support@hostholder.com; we answer within 30 days.

10. Children

Our services are for people aged 18 and over. If we learn that we hold information about a child without proper consent, we delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The new version is posted on this page with its date, and important changes are also emailed to you. Continuing to use our services means you accept the updated policy.
